Tips for Parents

1. Paintball has become the fastest growing extreme sport and with this there are growing concerns about the safety of the participants. We at Ruff N Tuff paintball want to stress the importance of following a few simple rules to keep this a safe sport for all players and spectators.

2. Players should always play at regulated fields with referees to oversee the games as well as check paintball markers with a chronograph. This will check the speed that the paintball marker is firing to insure that you stay within the legal limit of 290 feet per second. This is something that should be checked several times throughout the day.

3. Players should always wear paintball approved goggles. These goggles have been tested and have the impact resistance that is necessary for protecting you from injuries. Goggles are to be worn at all times while you are on the playing field.

4. Barrel plugs are to be on your paintball marker at all times while you are off of the playing field. This insures that players and spectators are protected from accidentally being hit by a paintball at close range.

5. Shooting your paintball marker is only permitted on the paintball field and in the target range. The target range is a safe place where you can chronograph and test fire your marker. Always wear protective goggles in the target range as well as on the field.

6. Never work on your paintball marker without taking safety precautions first. This would first require wearing protective eyewear and disconnecting your air source.

7. By following the basic rules everyone can be assured to have a safe, fun filled day. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our management staff immediately.
